Vintage Frocks and A Give-Away

I just had to show you some of my latest creations. I have been making the sweet vintage pillowcase dresses for quite some time and sell them at The Vintage Nest but recently I had this brilliant idea to make use of the old pillowcases that had parts that were stained or torn. It also makes use of outdated and/or worn blue jeans; thus another way to go green and upcycle. :) What little girl wouldn't want to wear one of these uptown country skirts?

There is a cottage give-away going on all the month of May so you still have a week to sign up. This amazing give away is put on by Kim at Things Remembered. A whole bunch (45 so far with the goal being 100) of fabulous bloggers have been gracious enough to have give-aways. How awesome is that? If you love cottage and vintage then you don't want to miss this. Scoot on over there right now and visit as many bloggers as you can. It' s a great way to discover new cottage, romantic, and vintage oriented blogs, as well as vendors and talented artists and maybe win something too. My contribution is this sweet blue bird nest on a vintage blue willow dish presented under a vintage glass dome with faux vintage pearls. Well...in just in a few we are leaving for a beach mini vacation. I wish you all the happiest and funnest of Memorial Day weekends. Best Wishes, Lynn @ The Vintage Nest
